Research checklist
Also called: investment checklist
A written list of questions answered for every company researched, covering the business, financials, governance, valuation and risks.
A checklist makes sure important but easily skipped questions are asked every time. It works best with questions that need answers in words, a separate list of deal-breakers, and regular updates after mistakes. Passing every item does not make a share a good investment at any price.
