The short version

  • There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for.
  • We run no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and set no cookies.
  • Your progress, saved lessons and test history stay in your browser on your device. We never receive them.
  • Search runs in your browser. What you type is not sent to us or anyone else.

What is stored in your browser

To remember your progress without an account, the site uses your browser's local storage, a small storage area that belongs to this website on your device. It holds:

  • the lessons you have marked complete, and when;
  • the lessons you have saved for later;
  • the last lesson you visited, so we can offer to take you back;
  • your module test results, including which questions you got wrong, so we can suggest what to revise; and
  • an unfinished test attempt, so a refresh does not lose your answers.

This data never leaves your device. It is not synchronised between devices or browsers, and it is deleted if you clear your browser's site data. You can also delete it at any time with the "Clear all my progress" button on the My progress page.

Because this data sits on your own device, anyone with access to your browser can see or change it. It is a study aid, not a secure record.

What our hosting provider processes

The site is a set of static files served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We have not added any analytics or tracking to the site. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in its own privacy policy.

Fonts and other resources

All fonts, styles, scripts and images are served from this website. Pages do not load resources from third-party advertising or analytics services.

Lessons link to official sources such as SEBI, the stock exchanges and the depositories. Those websites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
