Reporting a mistake

Accuracy matters more to us than anything else on this site. If you think something is wrong, no longer true, unclear or missing an important caveat, please email hello@marketshots.in with:

  • the address of the page;
  • the sentence or number you think is wrong; and
  • if possible, an official source that shows the correct position.

You do not need to be an expert. Questions like "this confused me" are useful too.

What happens next

  1. We check the report against official sources.
  2. If the lesson is wrong, we correct it as quickly as we can. Errors that could lead someone to lose money or break a rule are treated as urgent.
  3. If a test question is wrong or ambiguous, it is fixed or withdrawn from the question bank.
  4. The lesson's "updated" date changes.

How corrections are shown

For significant corrections, we add a short note to the lesson explaining what was changed. Minor fixes, such as typos or clearer wording, update the "updated" date without a separate note.

We do not quietly rewrite a lesson to hide a substantive mistake.

What we cannot do

We cannot give personal investment, legal or tax advice, and we cannot help recover money lost to fraud. If you have been defrauded, see how to report a fraud, and contact your bank and the national cybercrime helpline straight away.
