Last traded price
Also called: LTP, last price
The price at which a share most recently traded. It is a record of the last trade, not a price anyone is promising you.
The last traded price updates with every trade during market hours. The price you actually get depends on the orders waiting in the order book when your order arrives, which can differ from the LTP, especially in thinly traded shares.
Example
If the LTP is ₹512.40 but the best seller is asking ₹512.50, a market buy order would pay at least ₹512.50.
