Bull market
Also called: bull run, bullish
A long period in which share prices are generally rising and investors are optimistic.
Bull markets usually go with a growing economy and rising company profits. There is no official definition of when one starts or ends; the term describes a broad, sustained rise.
Rising prices can make everyone look skilful. A bull market is a poor time to judge whether a strategy really works.
